Rebuilding Together

Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun manages a number of programs throughout the year, which impact low-income communities around Maricopa County.

Whether you’re a skilled trades person, dedicated volunteer, or belong to an organization wanting to help in your community, Rebuilding Together has opportunities available for you to make a difference.

For every dollar donated to Rebuilding Together, $3 is returned to the community. We are able to provide this return because of dedicated volunteers and building material donations.

Your Donation is Eligible for the Arizona Tax Credit Program

• A.R.S. §43‐1088

  The individual income tax credit is for voluntary cash contributions made by the taxpayer during the taxable year to a qualifying charitable organization of up to $200 in any taxable year for a single individual or a head of household and up to $400 in any taxable year for a married couple filing a joint return. There is a 5‐year carry forward.

  The credit can only be taken if the taxpayer itemizes deductions in the taxable year. There is no longer any baseline amount, 1996 or otherwise. If the taxpayer donates money to the qualified charity and itemizes their deductions, they are eligible to take the credit. Click here for more information.

  Individuals can designate Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun through employer based United Way Valley of the Sun giving campaigns. The donor can designate RTVOS by writing-in “Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun” and tax-ID “86-0680607″. All deductions will be processed by United Way, and forwarded to RTVOS.
