Request Services
To qualify for assistance, the property must be an owner-occupied detached single-family dwelling in Phoenix metropolitan area and in need of repair. Our typical client is:
- Elderly, veteran or disabled
- Owns (or paying mortgage on) their home
- Living on a low fixed income
- Grandparent caring for grandchildren
- Non-profit organizations serving disadvantaged populations
Referrals to the programs are welcome from churches, social workers, community organizations, concerned citizens, government offices, prospective clients and family. Clients are pre-qualified by a telephone interview. Once copies of qualifying documents are received, a home visit is made by an RTVOS staff or volunteers to assess need and confirm client’s eligibility.

Please note RTVOS will only provide service to households identified at 50% area median income. Other financial assets are considered in program selection.
If you earn above 50% AMI Rebuilding Together Valley of the Sun home safety program will still provide services, however a fee will be assessed.
